today I bought pumpkins

Today I bought three pumpkins to get my fall celebration into full swing - it's such a relief after barely surviving the hottest summer ever (at least that's how it felt!).  I have small white pumpkin on a shelf in front of the fireplace and two more on the porch with my container garden.  I would love to do some sort of door decoration, too, but I'm not sure what kind yet.   Still thinking about it...

I love the autumn season in this apartment because it stays very cool all day, then at about 4pm all this golden  sunlight comes streaming through the windows and it gets all warm and cozy.
