corners of my home :: a simple bedroom

I love having a sparse and simple bedroom, it helps me relax and feel more peaceful.  

Remember this embossed felt pillow cover?  I've had the ticking striped quilt forever - I remember picking it out with my mom at Marshall Fields... I think in high school.

A few things organized on my nightstand.  Smith's Minted Rose lip balm in a round tin is must for me at bedtime.

I keep my sun hat and all of my scarves in a big harvest basket on the dresser.

And I recently purchased these vintage Laura Ashley curtains on Etsy.  I wish I could buy all the 80s and 90s Laura Ashley and hoard it for myself!

What are your favorite parts of bedroom decor?  Do you like a simple room or do you have a million pillows on the bed?  I do think I could use a few more pillows!
