{the dress}
I wore my handmade dress to an outdoor wedding on Saturday and I'm so pleased with the way it turned out! It fit well and was easy to accessorize (I wore black T-strap sandals and an ivory floral headband from Anthropologie). The tie at the waist is a length of black velvet ribbon from the fabric store. I'll definitely be sewing more fancy dresses!
