mini quilting : )

I just finished up two mini quilts using pretty vintage textiles and muslin fabric.

I wanted to make something inspired by vintage redwork embroidery, so I used lovely red embroidery thread, too.  The red looks great against all the neutral textiles!

I really enjoyed picking out some beautiful pieces of lace and adding hand stitching to each quilt!
