a quick project!

So.... I have seen these really cut apple cozies floating around for a while and now I finally made one! I had some apples in the kitchen so I grabbed one (and some yarn and a crochet hook) and made up a little cozy. I even used one of my treasured owl beads to make a little loop-and-bead closure. Pretty cute!

It's an easy project to make up as you go along, so I really enjoyed it. I am super busy with crochet these days... one of my soft sculptures was in Etsy Finds a few days ago (yay!) so I need to restock the shop with fiber art after selling a few of the pieces. I have an awesome piece all in white that should be finished today! Then I need to pick out some more yarn tomorrow..... a trip to the yarn store!!!

Oh! And I have an awesome new knitting book to review for you, too! All of that will be coming up in the days ahead.
