Before & After ReStyle

Here is a great before & after shot of my latest project:


I used white and ecru crochet thread and found a vintage wood plaque for $1 at the thrift store... it has a great shape and I love the hole at the top for hanging. After I painted over the scratched 70's bird design it really started taking shape...


I like to two tones of thread on this one. Usually I do a totally monochromatic design, but I've had a tiny ball of this ecru color for awhile and really wanted to use it on something... this turned out to be the perfect piece!


I listed in the shop today!

That is a lovely colour combination. The two colours give it something fun.

yes,it did turn out great! i love how you give new life to things i bet most people would overlook at the thrift shop, and make them look so nice :)

Wow...that looks so striking! I love white and off white together. It also looks like when two different species of lichens or something like that grow side by side. Very cool.
