grannies & dandelion root tea

I've finished 36 granny squares for a new blanket... now I'm running out of white yarn, so I must get some more soon...

I also made a dandelion root decoction that I've been mixing with apple juice, it's very healthy and full of iron. To make the decoction, I boil the roots in an enamel pot for about 40 minutes, then strain out the herbs... dandelion can be a little bitter, which is why I add the apple juice!

I love the colors of your yarn in these squares. What kind of yarn are you using?

Ferne, the yarn is just the store brand from Hobby Lobby, it's comparable to TLC solids. Thanks for asking!

LOVE your granny square color combo--so lovely.

My iron stores tend to run a little low, according to bloodwork in recent years, but I'm not sure I could drink that drink. Sorry!

great primary colour choices and the white really makes the colours pop! how big of a blanket are you working towards?

Thanks! I don't know how big I'm going to make the blanket yet, I'm thinking twin bed sized? Don't know!
