Cozy Mug Cozy Knitting Pattern

In this spirit of warm beverage knitting patterns, here's another.  Knit in the same Pakucho organic cotton yarn so you can make a matching set if you like!

You will need a small amount of Pakucho yarn (or another worsted weight yarn) and US 8/5mm straight needles.

1. CO 44 stitches, leaving a tail of yarn to use for sewing later.
2. Work in seed stitch until your piece measures about 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) long.
3. Bind off and cut your yarn, leaving a tail long enough for sewing.
4. Fold your work in half and sew just the matching corners together.  This way you can slip           your mug handle through the opening.

That's it!  Just a note, my mug measured about 11.75 inches (30 cm) around at the widest part. If your mug is much larger or smaller you will need to add or subtract stitches.
