New city, new show!
We arrived in Tucson yesterday and have been unpacking like crazy! I'm very excited to get outside and start taking some photographs of this new landscape. Yesterday, as we were walking through the apartment complex, a lizard ran across the sidewalk and scurried around a cactus!
I've been setting up a little work space with my sewing machine - finally out of storage! - and laptop. Here is what I've been working on lately...
These pieces, as well as a few others, are being sent to Fact & Fancy, a gallery and shop in Brooklyn, for a show! Thanks to Christine and Danielle for including me!

Have a great life in Tucson! Looking forward to seeing photos of your new surroundings.
That some interesting stitching. You did a beautiful job.
I like those pieces...especially the pelvic bone! Can't wait to see photos of your new desert landscape!
Rachel - Thanks for stopping by my blog and Welcome to Tucson!
Wow! What great work! Yeah to unpacking the sewing machine! Can't wait to see some photos of the area.
I could have sworn that I already came in and commented on this, so I thought I was actually going to be leaving a second comment on this post because that pelvis is just so extra special cool. But alas, only one comment from me, although I'm still feeling the wow factor.
Congrats on your new digs in a new town, and on your inclusion in the show! Sounds like lots of big, good changes happening all at once. :)
Ooooh! That embroidery is awesome.
Great work! I wish I could come and see the exhibition!
LOVE your stitch work!
